First time to Hong Kong =)
The day before we left for HK 31st Aug 2006
in the evening went to church for choir prac..heehee. aunty esther wanted me to go home earlier so can sleep. but i told her dun have to casue planning to watch tv the whole night.haha.. sms and phone calls kept coming in. ask me wad to bring to mama's hse.wad time i will be home...
reached home at 10 plus. had macs.heehee. than watched healing hands 3 and the hotel show.gwy still dare me to stay up the whole night end up she slept first. slept at 2 plus. at 4am, mum woke me and daph up. we were the last to wake up.haha.. did the last packing.the toothbrush all. at 515, uncle joshua came to fetch us to the airport.so kind of him.picked mama up at the bus stop.so excited!! had breakfast at the airport. went to the bording area at 715am.the flight was at 8am.had the window seat.heehee.than there was the tv to see how the plane take off.so cool.the taking off part was scary.watched toys story.fall asleep until food came.had fried noodles,cupcake,fruits and youget.did not eat the youget.mama packed it into her bag.haiz..i wanted to leave it on the tray so that it could be kept cool but mama wanted to put it in the bag.thougth i could eat it at the hotel but now i dun think so.i guess the dust bin would have a great meal.was feeling quite bored on the plane.toys story repeated.just when i wanted to take my mp3 out.the announment came 'Dear passengers, please off all laptops and electronic item...'sad..but at least i know i'm arriving at Hk soon.heehee.could see the birds' eye view og Hong Kong.haha.. fianlly we have arrived.we had to walk all the way to belt 12 to collect our luggages.after custom went to find the travel agency.and after that to Disneyland shop.wow..wanted to buy the whole shop home.bought key chains and mickey mouse toy.YEAH!!my first mickey.haha.had to wait for a while before the bus came to pick us up.than met uncle's friend and some relative.so qiao.after some time the bus came.the bus ride to Majestic Hotel was about 40 mins.saw the tsing ma da qiao. always see it on shows and finally got to see it right in front of my eyes.haha.nearly slept on the bus.ok i did sleep on the bus.soon we arrived at Majestic Hotel.daph and my room was the only room ready.so everyone had to gather in our room.the first thing i entered the room was to explore the room.had bath tube!!quite nice and comfortable beds.the channels not really nice though. change to my contact lens, hang our clothes. headed out to look for food.went to the shopping centers opposite but no food. the clothes also so ah ma.so end up eating mac.weird pple. so hk to eat mac.haha.but no choice grams can't walked.so bought mac back lo.and everyone finish eating dunno how to throw away the rubbish.juz leave it in my room and walked back to their room. at 5pm, went to meet the tour guide at the lobby. had dinner at some resturant at Hk island. goose.haha.first time eating that.quite tough but nice. after that was a ride up to Victoria Peak.could see the nice houses on the hill.the contrast of the poor and the rich. the poor stay at the foot of the hill and the rich on the hill.the night view was really wonderful.the tour guide was saying which house belonging to which rich man or which woman. like i know which house they stay i will know them or become rich.finally the peck!!nice place. windy, night view was gorgous. we had 20 mins to look at the night view. after 10 mins of sight seeing we went into this shopping centre and we saw gio SALE!!the clothes is totally different from the one in singapore.so din care how much was it. juz took the clothes to the fitting room and to the cashier. all these were done in 15 mins!! HK$700 spent in 15 mins. power man.. went back to the place to gather. we were the only one holding bags and bags of clothes.so ma luing.next stop was ave of stars.on the way there the tour guide was saing that the AIA building, cemertry, houseracing place and the 2 hospitals were linked up by some fung shui. the AIA building had this weird covering.the windows had the shape of the coffin. it looked so scary.the reason behind the windows is because the building is located beside the cemertry. and some yin and yang thing which i do not understand.how is rest of it are linked up is that.during hourseracing, pple will tend to bet alot. if the happen to win alot of money and suffer a heart attact becasue of the winning, they are sent to the heart specialist just a road away. if they can't make it through, they are sent to the cemertry and than collect insurance at the AIA buliding.if the loss money they will start to have tooth ache. so sent to the dentist just a road away too.when i eard it i was like omg. they could actually think of these. really pei fu the people there.than took the boat ride to kowloon where ave of stars is.the boat ride is 10 to 15mins i think.ave of stars is the place where all the hand prints of stars are kept.not really interesting place.just looking around.next was the open bus top tour. sw the sighboards of the shops.the sighboards are really big. can't stand up if you happen to be tall.if not your head will be gone.the ride was a open eye. as these could not be seem in singapore. final stop ladies market. super hot there. bought a necklase.than took a taix back to the hotel.at the hotel bath and the moment i lay on the bed i slept until the nest morning.haha
2nd Sept Day 2
Half day tour
woke up at 630am and realise the sun is shining bright.back in singapore the sun still hiding at dunno which corner of the Earth.haha.met the tour guide at 7am at the lobby.the first stop the same resturant we went.had dim sum. yumy!! next was victoria mid peak. this time the tour guide showed us the house belonging to jacky chan.car number JC1.haha. took some pics there.soon was the jewerlly factory.they showed us their new product and is looked so sweet. so bought one for myself, mum, dapg and grams bought it too.haha.nest was the chinese emporiam.the most boring place.all the herbs.mama bought lots of stuff there.than lunch at some resturant.than our own time.was walking to Sogo and saw a really cool shop. Maple. bought necklase and skirt there.is really cheap and nice.haha.walked to new world centre. daph and i walked the other places from the rest. thought could buy something from there but the things there are really ex and branded man, can't afford the things there. so we went to Sogo. also equally branded and ex. bought a sunglasses. had sales.haha. my favourite word when it comes to shopping.haha.after that was back to the hotel.had dinner at the cafe outside the hotel. had fried rice. the portion was huge.after that was back to the hotel room. the bed!! slept at 1130.also slept through the night.
3rd Sept 3rd day
Ocean Park!!! took the MTR to Central and than the bus to ocean park.finally got to go there after seeing the place so many times on drama shows. the first ride we took was the mine train. was cool but scary. half the time i was looking down.the slop was real long.next was some space wheel where we go against gravity. i kept shaking my head! there was like so many escalators and slops!! took at least 15 mins to get to the top of the hill. by the time we reached the top the sky was dark. so mum decided to go back down to bring grams and mama up. the place was quite empty cause we were early. took all the rides except for the cock screw. gene and daph took that ride. gwy and i took the free fall. the moment i went up i regretted riding it. i was screaming my lungs out.i dun think i will every ride that ride again. the worst ride was the Eagle. it made me spin 360 degrees none stop. i nearly puck.the only ride we took twice was the pirate ship. haha. after taking all the rides we went to look for mum, grams and mama. lucky on the way down the slop we met mum if not we will have to go all the way to the bottom. had macs for lunch. after lunch just in time for the dolphin show. the dolphins are so adorable and smart. how i wish i were one of the dolphin so i can swin freely in the ocean with no worries. next stop was the shark aqurium. was nearly feeding time but the place was too crowded so decided not to wait any longer. than the fisg aquirium.all the cute little fishes.saw the fish that looked like da chong shu. haha. after all the walking we took the cable car down to the bottom of the hill. is called the kids paradise. the cable car ride was scary. so high!! lucky it did not stop. at the kids paradise we saw the pandas! first time in my life that i saw a panda. they are so chubby and huggable. and next was the dolpin university. the place where dolphins are trained. sad that i can't touch them.haiz.that was the last place we went. it was already 5 plus so we decided to leave. slept on the bus. went back to the hotel to change before going out again. this time without grandmas.. had wanton mee. the noodle was real hard. for a moment i thought i was chewing on stones. the only thing i liked was the wanton. had 2 big prawns inside. yummy!! mum wanted to eat the da da but the food was up to my throat so i gave it a miss. though it is the one thing that i have to try. took a stroll at temple street and back to the hotel. i realised that my Little Match Girl bad went missing. so angry. the best bad i ever had!! dun thing can even get it back. so sad.
4th Sept Day 4
woke up at 730. had breakfast at some cafe at Central Hong Kong island. their set breakfast was a wide spread.after breakfast we walked to the mid escalator. the weird thing was that the escalator goes downwards and we had to walk up. we went to the shop which sells wonderful egg tarts. yummylicious!! but could not buy some back casue knowing we chor lor people was break the egg tarts. took the tram to Causeway Bay. first time riding and seeing these trams. it runs on electricity. the ride was windy and fun. and this is the cheapest transport in Hong Kong.the ride is only HK$2. Sing$0.50!! in Singapore where can i find a tranport which cost me $0.50?! the first shopping centre was Sogo. branded stuff man. the super market was great. the had jap and korean food. the cakes and chocolates looked so finger licking. next was the gio store. did not have much money left so did not buy another. only for seeing. the cardigian that i wanted!! went to times square. the place is so branded. mum bought a shirt from mango. had lunch at crystal jade. the hot sour la mian!! mouth watering. finally i found a CD shop!! could not find Alex Fong's cd. end up buying Kevin's cd. the guy from Under The Canopy of Love. haha.. went to the first level and saw Kwok Ke Yi's husband walked passed me. he is good looking man. but his shirt is so flower and he was wearing a big sun glasses. than dad told gwy " why never tell me?? if not can ask him sign my butt." that very moment the woman who was the hp said "ci sin" lol. we laughed none stop. until the MTR we were still laughing. back to the hotel. slept for a while went to Sham Shui Po. mama went out with her uncle. dunno who is he. haha. Sham Shui Po looked so deserted. is like Sim Lim combine Chinatown. so run down. sad that the indoor rollacoster was closed. had dinner that the food court. there was nothing much to see so decided to go to Mongkok. King Wah.the shops were small. is like Far East. the shops sells the same product. haiz. this time grams walked faster than us. lol. after that went back to the hotel.the lao puo bing arrived. the moment i saw the box i got a shock of my life. one carton! the box was too heavy so the bell boy had to bring it up for us. can you believe it 20 boexes of lau puo bing!! after that daph and i went back to the room. the show we were watching was really interesting. is a show by he ren. guest zhang shan wei!! both of them were like spys. the had to help the aunty find out if her niece was mixing with bad company. the girl looked to qui. at night she tunred into an ah lian. getting into fights. onces she was on the bike with her boyfriend and she grabbed a lady's handbag. when we saw we were like OMG!! the next thing she was high on drugs with her boyfriend and than got scolded by a group of girls. and the show ended. part 2 was when he ren and zhang shan wei found out the whole truth and the gil threaten to jump into the river. but part 2 is the next day!! can't watch. haiz. wonder what really happend to the girl. after the show we went to soak out leggs in hot salt bath. shoick. the pain on the leg was slowly disappearing. had a good night rest.
5th Sept Day 5
got woken up by the door bell. i thought we woke up late and mum was trying to wake us up. but actually she was just cheaking if we finished packing argh. the time was 726am!! 4 more minutes before the alume goes off. should we go back to sleep or wash up. but i just lay in bed. haha. than daph told me that at 1am her phone vibrated and i stared at her before going back to sleep. and i din even know about it. she said that it was daryl who smsed her. he said that the crocodile hunter had passed away because he got stabbed by the sting ray. so sad. his son is only 2 years old. had breakfast at the cafe down the street. had puo lo bao. yummy!! gwy had breakfast set. she did not eat the egg yoke so dad said to pass him the egg yolk. just than the guy 'flew' pass taking the plate away. all of us just stared at the man abd started laughing. 2nd time man!! this was just so funny. went back to the hotel to check out. went with 8 luggage bags. back home with 11 luggage bags. 3 bags of lao puo bing!! left out bag at the conciege. took the MTR to Kwoolon Tong.Festival Walk. the place is a shopping paradise man. when we went there the shops were not even open. the only shop was Bossini. Final Sales!! i bought a t shirt. and the rest bought t shirts, blouse and presents. the clothes were kind of nice. singapore is behinh fashion!! walked into this shoe shop. the shoes were elegant and pretty. but the price also very pretty. found another Cd shop. this time there was Alex Fong's cd!! mum bought Steven Ma's cd too. haha. had lunch at the food court. the palce was crowded so end up buying KFC. wad a weird thing to eat at HK. after lunch went into this shop selling children's clothes. saw some cute little toys which could walk around and make noise. so gene and i deicded to buy the dog and grams bought the pig for jum xin. spent my last Hk$100 in that shop. so i'm left with HK$5. haiz. dad bought a pair of shoes at Brass. mama was chasing us to go back to the hotel when it was still early. our last shop was KE Wah. bought mango and pinapple mooncake. by the time we reached the hotel was only 3 plus. not even 4. and the bus would only came and pick us up at 5!! i fell asleep at the lobby and the old ah pek had to wake me up.haiz. so irritating. they dun allow us to check out late and now i can't even sleep.at 4 o'clock we went to the first level. lucky the sofa was empty. collected and luggage. stuff our clothes into the luggage. took so fun pics while waiting for the bus. finally at 5 the bus arrived. on the way to the hotel took a pic of tsing ma da qiao. the moment we arrived at the airport we went to check in our luggage. free!! but still had bags of lao puo bing to carry. founf wing wah!! bought cookies and lao puo bing. haha.. had a bite before going through custom. at cunstom i was already carrying so many things and the stupid staff at the scan ask me to take of my belt!! WTH.. and gwy was wearing the same belt as me and she did not have to take it out. i should have gone to another counter man. lucky my jeans did not drop if not i will just wheck the man up.Hk international airport is a nice place. the boring area is in a big hall unlike singapore where is was in small halls. took the last few pictures before bording the plane. during the flight home. children kept crying one after another. and there was this woman who was arguring with the air steward. so noisy. no nice movies to watch.the night view of HK was great. so pretty.all the lights. next thing i knew outside was in total darkens. dinner was great. the food came from some resturant.it was to colebrate the air lines 60th anniversary. there was ice cream too. =) after dinner there was nothing to do.so noisy, no shows.. there was this lady in front of gene who pucked all over the place. haiz.. the flight home seems faster. before i knew i could see lights outside. it looked liked stars. the plane took 5 mins to get to the parking lot after landing. by that time was 1150pm. after custom went to buy liquor with daph. uncle joshua came to fetch us home. ku ku came to fetch mama home. daph parents fetched her home.
finally at 1am i was home.so tired. had to unpack all the things that i need, boil water so i could drink and bath. by the time i can sleep was already 3 plus. haiz.
6th Sept
woke up at 10 plus. there's lessons at 2pm!! argh.. so tired. was late for class anyways. and was falling asleep during class. haiz.. should not have gone to school!!
