Under the Canopy of Love is a super show. Everyone who has Ch 55, this show is a must watch.If not you will miss out a wonderful show. This show is about Alan and Sze.They were schoolmates cum friends. However when Alan left that school, both of them lost touch and did not meet each other for many years. It was only after they grew up, they met each other at their work place. Alan works in the office as an excutive while Sze owns a shop in the shopping centre. After they met and got to know one another, they became a couple. A couple whom everyone envies. Including myself. There was this chemisty between them which no one could explain. They knew each other inside out. However things changed when Karen, the daughter of the mall's biggest shareholder came into the company. She had high expectations of Alan and was always giving him chances to show his talents. He had a pay rise and was given a higher post in the company. Due to work committments, he got lesser time for Sze and was spending more time with Karen. Thus leading to a huge misunderstanding. Sze thought that Alan and Karen would be an item when they left for Singapore for a project. She decided to give my the relationship thinking that Alan would not love her anymore. However Sze did not know that she was the only one Alan loved. She started a relationship with Lik.In her heart she knew that she only loved Alan.She thought that maybe after sometime she would forget Alan and would concentrate on her relationship with Lik. When Alan returned to Hong Kong, he thought Sze would be delighted to meet him and they would go back together. However he was wrong. Sze became a stranger to him and he did not understand what had happen until he saw Sze together with Lik.he was very angry and up set. He fought with Lik. After he saw how Lik was so determind to win, he gave up. Since that day Sze did not meet Alan at the mall at all. It was only after a close friend of Sze gave her a DVD of Alan's interview in Singapore, she realised she had made a terrible mistake by not trusting Alan. Sze and Alan reconciled. When Lik saw that both of them together, he got very angry that he wanted to end his life.He got beaten up by a gang and was badly injured.When Alan and Sze saw how depress Lik was Alan decided to tell a white lie.He comforted Lik and assured him that Sze would only be with him always.On the day of Sze and Lik wedding, Lik decided to back up and return Sze to Alan knowing that both of them are truly in love and he was the third party instead. In the end the princess ended up with the love of her life Alan.
