A touch of Sweetness

On the third day, we had to wake up early too. The bus picked us up from the hotel lobby and fetched us to another hotel at Mongkok. The hotel is called Metropark Hotel. However when we arrived at the hotel, the rooms were not ready. Therefore we had to place our stuff at the concierge.Our first destination was Wong Tai Sin Temple. The place was kind of crowded.The rest went in the temple to pray, while Jordan, Cheryl and I waited outside for them.Cheryl was fascinated over the wind mill thingy. Soon after we took the MTR down to Central and we walked to the Tram station.We had to wait for at least an hour before we could board the tram.The tram ride up the Peak was fun.Mun and I had to stand as there was no more seats for us.We had to balance ourselves as the tram was going 45 degrees up the slope.Scary.As we went higher, the view got nicer.

Finally we arrived at the Peak.We could feel the cold air and had to
wear our jackets on.We went up to the top level of the building.The view was magnificent.Daphne, Mun and I poked out heads out of the glass panel.We could feel the cold air blowing into our face.For that moment how i wished time could stop.

My dream home..haha. i think waiting a million years later this type of home will still never come through.

Soon, all of us were hungry. So we decided to have Bk mushroom swiss for lunch.The mushroom swiss seems to be bigger. We sat outside to eat. It looked as if we were having picnic.The wind was very strong.However the thought of having to eat in the cold weather was fun.After eating we decided to return to the hotel.While Q-ing for the tram ride, Daphne, Mun and I decided to have some ice cream. Must be crazy huh. But it had a different feeling.We did not have to worry if the ice cream would melt in our hands.haha.

Lucky we were the first few people in the Q, if not we would not get any seats on the tram. The ride down was fun.Our backs were facing the front instead.Sad that the ride down was a short one.
Back at the hotel, after we took our keys, we went to our respective rooms. The room there was very small.Smaller than the rooms at Majestic hotel.Mun's room and mine we next to each other.So we could open the 'common door'. After some rest, we headed down to Mongkok.The first thing we had was dessert.haha. My favourite Mango Sago!! Yummylicious. Soon after we went round shopping. Back at the Esprit Factory Outlet. This time I bought more shirts and a pair of jeans.Next was Ladies Market.Bought 2 belts was a Mickey Mouse sweater.heehee. The rest were choosing shoes at some shop while Mun and I were standing around. At 8 plus, we decided to have dinner somewhere nearby instead of having seafood at some place far away.On the way to the restaurant, I spot a huge poster of Kevin!!! He was advertising for some fitness centre. Mun and I went mad over it. haha.

Finally we found the restaurant we wanted to go. It was kind of crowded so we had to wait a little while. After a 15 min wait, we finally got our table. Aunty Jolene ordered some set meal
thingy. There was a wide spread of food. I love the noddles with prawns.
After dinner we decided to head back to the hotel for the day.
Once again the next day started of at 6am!! This time we were heading to Macau. The bus picked us up at 730am. Dun really like the tour guide. She seems to have some attitude problem. The bus went round picking some other tourist. Most of them were English speaking. The ferry ride was at 9am. We were there 30mins before. The ferry ride to Macau was around 1 hour.Slept on the way there. the weather there was kind of wet. The tour guide took us to some of the tourist spots.

The tour round Macau seems boring. Half the time the tour guide were entertaining the high class people. Finally it was lunch time. The food was mediocre except for some Portuguese dessert. After lunch, the bus took us to some place and we had to walk all the way to the casino. On our way there we saw the remains of St Paul's Roman Catholic Church.

The church was built in 1602 and burned by fire in 1835. Miraculously, fine art of carvings and statues can be seen on the surviving facade. It has been left there even since up to this day.

The walk to the Casino was tiring. We had to make our own way there as the tour guide left us behind. It took us 30 minutes just to get to the Casino at Grand Emperor Hotel. The hotel is super high class.

We went up to the casino. The place is kind of smoky and complicated. played some jack pot thingy. Dun really understand how to place though. After awhile, Mun and I decided to go back down. At 4, the bus came to pick us up to the ferry terminal. At the ferry terminal the place was super crowded. We had to wait for quite awhile before we can pass through custom. We nearly had to run for the ferry. Once again on the ferry all of us fell asleep. However we got woken up by the 'jumping' of the boat. Scary!! I was holding onto Daphne.haha.. We arrived at Hong Kong at 6pm. Headed to some tea house for dinner. The hong dou ping was super. Evon and family finish eating first therefore they decided to return to the hotel first. After dinner, we went to 3 Concept shop. Bought a belt and 2 skirts. After we return to the hotel for some rest, we headed out to Mongkok again. Went back to Ladies Market and Po Hai Kai.At 11 plus we went round looking for smelly tou fu. Beside the shop there was this VCD shop. Mun and I bought a VCD show by Alex Fong. Mun and I shared one smelly tou fu. However after Mun had a few bites she disappeared.

Smelly tou fu was not as smelly as I thought. and it was quite tasty after all.

Headed back to hotel.. Sleep time =)

The next day we woke up later. The first place was to Sham Shui Po. the shops there were still close so we decided to go back to the hotel to check out and left our luggage at the concierge. We headed down to Festival Walk at Kowloon Tong. First shop was the CD shop. Bought Niki Chow's CD. Yay!! than to Bossini. Bought a Polo Tee for dad. At FX Creation bought pencil cases. It was on sale buy 1 get 1 free. The last shop was Ans.. Wanted to look for sunglasses end up buying a silver bag instead. After that we went to Langham Place. haha.. my number one shopping centre. those who have watched Under The Canopy of Love that is the place you would want to visit. The shops there are like Far East.from levels 7 to 11, is spiral up. So cool. Mun and I bought a personalized mirror each.

Sad that the time passed so fast. If not I could spent the whole day at the shopping centre. Had to head back to the hotel as the bus would pick us up to the airport. How I wished the time could stop and have more time to shop and stay in Hong Kong. Went to Hong Kong with one luggage, went home with 2. Before arriving at the airport, the bus fetched some people to Disneyland. It seem like a nice place to go. At the airport, I bought 2 bags of cookies and lao puo bing. My hands nearly broke.Had some munch before boarding the plane. The plane back to Singapore was at 750. Everyone was scattered, we had to exchange places with some other people.This time at least got to sit at window seat. And the most interesting thing i saw was fireworks from Disneyland. The view was spectacular.Arrived Singapore at 1140pm. By the time I reached home was 12 plus nearly 1. Was super tired.
Hong Kong I will be back soon for more shopping!! =)
