Congrats to Vincent and Wendy the newly weds and Happy 21st birthday to someone (she's address as someone as she does not wan people to know about it) haha
On 21st July 2007, Vincent and Wendy finally got married. =)
Woke up at around 7 plus in the morning, got ready and than headed down to Furama Hotel. The day before, e mah, Wendy and mun stayed overnight at the hotel. Wanted to stay over too but was too late. When we arrived at the hotel room, Wendy was doing her make up. Helped Mun with her make up. Soon, auntie Jolene and Daphne arrived too. Soon the time arrived for Vincent to pick Wendy up. Vincent and his best man could easily come into the room. However they had to pass the first obstacles done up the cousins and Aunties. Muhaha. We wanted them to sing a song but they did not know which song to sing. So we decided to test their sincerity but making them eat the sandwiches. haha.. than it came to the second obstacle. they were stopped by Evon jie. after sometime, Vincent could finally see his pretty bride.He knelt down and said to Wendy ,' Will you marry me? ' So touching. Her face nearly went red.haha. After some photo taking all of us except for e mah, uncle and grams left for Vincent's home for the tea ceremony. On the way there, Jordan was so cute. he could sing quang liang's songs and some canto songs when i do not even know some of the lyrics. At Vincent's home, Wendy changed into the traditional Chinese costume. (not really sure what it is called) Not long later we headed back to the hotel. Waited for 1st uncle and uncle David to come before the tea ceremony started. Had some funny moments especially when it was uncle David and auntie Helen's turn. haha. after that was photo taking time again. =) After that we went to some restaurant for lunch and than some of the aunties and uncles headed home to change, while grams, mun, gene, gwy, 1st auntie, Evon jie, Jordan, Cheryl and i headed back to the hotel room. Had some rest before showering. The toilet was big. haha. As Wendy had an extra day room so all of us decided to make use of that room. That room was so much more smaller and kind of dirty too. There was a rotten apple under the bed. Yucks. The moment we settled down, grams, 1st auntie, Evon jie, mum and i started doing our make up, hair or whatever we had to do. At 5 plus we went back to Wendy's room. At around 630, the solemnisation started. Vincent was super funny. He was so kan jiong that he kept saying ' i do' and he place the ring on the right hand instead of the left. haha. Happy to see them finally getting married. After the solemnisation, Gene, Mun, Gwy and I sat at the guest book table until all the guest arrive. At that moment everything felt so unreal.I felt as if I was dreaming. I thought I was the only one who felt that way.End up Wendy and Mun felt that too.Edmund says maybe its because of the lightings. Dinner started at 825. 10 mins earlier than expected. The food was quite yummylicious. After a few dishes, Wendy went back to the room to change into her evening gown. After that was the 'yum sing' Grams was so excited about it. Stev, Daryl, Uncle William and Ah Zhong were called upon stage too. I was laughing all the way. Next up was Edmund's speech. He said all the xin li hua that he wanted to say but did not get the chance to. It was so touching that I cried. The dinner ended at 10 plus and the guest started to leave. We went back to the room to sing birthday song for the someone. As it was getting late, we left first. Uncle Patrick, one of the regular customer sent us and the best man home. While waiting for the best man, I gave Wendy a hug and said i love her forever. Reached home at around 11 plus 12. How I wish the moment when we had fun could stop there. But somehow during happy moments time seems to pass faster. Is there some way to slow down the time?
Wish Vincent and Wendy happy ever after and their love grow stronger everyday. Wishing them all the best and may they dance together as one.
And to the someone, Happy 21st birthday. May you stay happy always. I love you too =)
