Went back to ij this morning with theresa and julie. It has been quite some time since i went back to visit the teachers. Stepping back into ij brings back many wonderful memories. When we went to the hall, mass was about to end. They were singing the final hyme. Saw many teachers who taught me for the past 5 yrs in secondary school and saw many new teachers too. After mass the teachers left the hall, while Mrs Mathews was addressing the students. Finally after a long wait, the teachers arrived in their weird dressing. haha.. the theme for their dress was 'if i were a star!!' haha.. there were casino royal by the humanities teachers, harry potter by the 2nd language teachers, bollywood by the english language teachers, rock and roll by the pe teachers, cowboys by the science teachers and kong fu by the maths teachers. they were very hilarious. Especially Mr Chan Yew Chong. He dressed up as Fred from Flintstones. the concert was quite okay. the best was when the students imitated Mrs Mag Low. during the past 1 hrs or so, my ear drums nearly burst by their shouting. I can't imagine i was sitting in the hall and screaming like them few years back. haha. and during school days i did not feel that it was deafening. haha. theresa had to leave early so did not stay for the whole concert. after giving the present to mrs siau and mr armstrong we left. hope i will go back to school to visit the teachers soon.
Happy Teachers' Day to all the teachers who taught me during my years in ij. Really enjoyed my days in ij though there were some really hell and terrible days.
