A touch of Sweetness

One week at Hong Kong was wonderful. Did lotz of shopping and eating.

DAY 1
Left home at 6am. Took a cab to the airport T3. The taxi driver was a idiot. He did not help us carry out luggage onto the cab. By the time we arrived at the airport, it was time to check in. As we still had around 1 and a half hour before our flight, we went shopping at T3 and took a few photos here and there. We boarded the plane at around 815am and the flight was delayed due to some safety reasons. There were some problems with a ladies luggage. The flight was delayed for around half and hour. And by the time we were on the run way, we had to wait for another 15 mins as there was some 'traffic congestion'. So with all the delay and jam, we took off at 915am. Blah.. Well actually before the plane could even take off, i slept. When the plane took off, i woke up to look at the scenery and than went back to sleep until breakfast was served.

We arrived at Hong Kong at around 12 plus 1. We took a taxi down to the hotel. We were staying at Nathan Hotel. The room at the hotel was big. The beds were super comfortable. After some rest, we headed down to Tsim Sha Tsui. Mum bought 2 Rabeanco bags and Dad bought a shirt from Adidas. Finally we headed down to Esprit Factory Outlet. Bought 2 tops and a blank 3/4 pants from there. We went to some cafe down the street for dinner, and than to Sogo. Bought another sunglasses and a yellow bag from ANS. After all the shopping, we were just in time to watch the Symphony of Lights at Ave of Stars. By than we were super tired and our legs were breaking. And we walked all the way back to the hotel. After a wash up, i headed into bed. And the time was like 1030pm. It was a long time since i slept at 1030.

DAY 2
Woke up at 715 in the morning. Went to the restaurant beside the hotel for dim sum. Mum ordered tons of food and we got a shock when the food arrived. We were like woah... In the end we had to take away those dry food. We took a train down to Sheung Wan and took the 'ting ting' down to Central. The ride on the 'ting ting' was quite fun but quite bumpy. From Central, we walked to the Tram Station. We were lucky we arrived earlier. After we bought our tickets to the peak, a tour group arrived and the place was super packed.
At the peak, Gwyneth and I did the wax hand thingy. We went to Madam Tussuad. Took lots of crazy photos. And than there was this scary segment. The place was in total darkness and we could only walk in a single file. During the whole walk, i was hiding behind Gen and pulling her. It was super scary and i was screaming half the time. After Madam Tussuad, we went to the Terrance, the view from there was super. But not as windy as the last time i went. Went shopping at Gio. Bought a black top there.
After the peak, we took the 'ting ting' to Causeway Bay. Went shopping at Times Square. During the evening we headed back to the hotel for some rest before heading to Mong Kok. At Mong Kok we went to Langham Place. I love the shopping centre there. How i wished i got to stay at the hotel there. From level 8 to 13, there was no escalator. It was a spiral down. Bought personalized stuff from Natural. As it was getting late, we decided to return to the shopping centre on Wednesday on head down to Ladies Market. Bought belts from there. And we could not find kor's bag. Once again we walked to the hotel from Ladies Market. The walk back was longer than the day before. Our legs were aching and it nearly broke. Took a shower and than into bed.

DAY 3
Once again we woke up early. We were suppose to go to Disneyland but it was raining so we decided to go shopping instead and than Disney the nest day. We went to APM shopping centre. We were there super early and the shops were not even open. We had to wait at some corner at the shopping centre. The little corner was kind of cool. There were rock looking seats which could glow. And of course we started cam-ing there. The moment the shops open. we went to Esprit and the shop was having sales. On top of that, members will have another 10% discount. Wuhoo. Had lunch at APM too. After that we headed down to Festival Walk and than to Langham Place again. Had dinner at the same restaurant. At 9 we headed back to hotel and managed to catch Forensic Heroes 2. Heehee. Kevin is just so good looking in that show or rather he is good looking in every other show. After that show, back to bed.

DAY 4
Disneyland!! After breakfast we went to Disneyland. And sad to say it was raining. =(
At first we were holding umbrellas but it was kind of troublesome so we decided to buy raincoats instead. The moment we step into Disney, we took photos with Daisy Duck, Mickey, Minnie and Goofy. Mickey kissed me on the cheek. =) I love Mickey!! He is just so adorable. And i realised Goofy is quite pervertic. He made us do weird poses and he always shake his butt and pull his ears. -_-
Went shopping at one of the shops at Main Street. The first land we went to was Tomorrow Land. We spent nearly 3 hours there. And watched a show there. It was actually a computerised show of Stitch. And he chose Gen to be his girlfriend. OMG!! And the funny part was that he destroyed Gen's planet. -_-
After lunch we went to Fantasy Land and lastly Adventure Land. It was raining the whole day and we had to walk around with our raincoats. It was quite fun playing in the rain. I enjoyed best at the Fantasy Land. The shows there were great. There was a 3-D show and a live show. The live show was super super super good. After the show, we went to Small Small World. It was a boat ride. I wanted to ride on it the second time but the rest did not want. =(
we went into a garden and we met all the characters again. There was Mickey, Minni, Pooh, Eeyore, Chip and Dale and Goofy. But did not take a photo with Goofy. Later he made us do weird pose again. Blah. By than, the rain was getting heavier.
Headed down to Adventure Land. Sat only one ride before heading back to Main Street for some shopping. As it was raining, there was no fireworks so we went back at 715pm. Because of the rain, there was no parade. Sob sob.
After we returned to the hotel to bath, we went out again for dinner. Missed the first part of forensic Heroes 2. Lucky there was a TV at the cafe we went.

DAY 5
Wake up early once again went back to the cafe we went the previous day for breakfast before heading down to Macau. The ferry ride to Macau was bumpy. But i had a good 1 and a half hour sleep. And once again it was raining. And it was raining even heavier than the previous day. At Macau, we took the shuttle bus to Venetian. The place is big and cool. There is a river in the shopping centre. Went into Fossil. And i finally found a watch that i like. Yippy. We bought a total of 4 watches from Fossil. Walked around the shopping centre before heading to 'Dai Sam Pa'. We had to return to the Ferry terminal to take a bus there. As it was raining cats and dogs, we could only buy the almond cookies and than go back to the Ferry Terminal, to Venetian and than take the shuttle bus to another ferry terminal. This time round, the ride back to Hong Kong was smooth. And it was less crowded. Slept through the whole journey.

DAY 6
Woke up early once again and the sun was shinning brightly. Went shopping or rather window shopping. We went to Olympic City 2 and the shops were not opened when we arrived. So we decided to head down to Elements. It was another high class shopping centre. The shops there were all branded goods. Had lunch at some restaurant before going down to Tsim Sha Tsui.
Back to hotel for some rest and than back to Langham Place. Gen and Gwyneth stayed at the hotel. I bought a top from Adidas. Went to the dessert shop outside Langham place. Bought 2 boxes of curry fishballs and 2 boxes of mango dessert back to the hotel. Missed the first 30 minutes of Forensic Heroes again. After eating, went to wash up and did some packing before heading into bed.

DAY 7
The last day at Hong Kong. This time we did not wake up as early as the last 6 days. We woke up at around 8 plus nearly 9. Packed my remaining stuff before checking out. And i realised the among of luggage and hand carry bags we had. OMG. It was scary. Went with 5 luggage and back with 7 luggage excluding hand carry bags. After we checked out, we left our stuff at the concierge before heading to the cafe behind the hotel for breakfast and than back to Langham Place for the very last time. Mum bought another Rabeanco bag. Gen bought a box from Natural as she had some remaining money. We had to wait for 2 hours before collecting her box. So we went to the dessert stall for curry fishball and mango dessert. And walked along the streets. When we headed back to Langham Place, we saw EDC. We went in shopping again. Bought a red top. After collecting the box, we went back to the hotel.
At 4pm, the hotel car fetched us to the airport. The ride there was super comfortable that i fell asleep. I nearly asked the driver to drive us back to the hotel and than back to the airport again so that i could sleep. At the airport, we went to the Disney stall. I bought a pack of poker cards with the remaining money i left. I did not even have $0.10 on me. Borrowed money from dad to buy my Pluto. Haha. Now i have the whole Disney family except for Daisy Duck.
Boarded the plane at 8pm. And this time i watched Horton while waiting for dinner. After dinner i took a short nap before the plane arrived in Singapore.

I ended my one week at Hong Kong. And how i wish the one week could just stop there. I wanna go back to Disneyland and never come back. Is such a happy place there. And there is no way you can go sad. If only there was Disneyland in Singapore. I will definitely work there so that i can see Mickey everyday.
I realised the clothes that i bought are either black or white. 3 black top, 3 white top and 1 red one. OMG. Super emo colours.
I wonder when i can return to Hong Kong again. Not for shopping but for Mickey. I miss Mickey.
